ABOUT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST
Why does everyone need Jesus Christ?
Because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). He is mindful of us as to where we will spend eternity. He desires to fellowship with us forever. The devil comes to steal, to kill and to destroy, BUT He (Jesus) has come that we may have life and that we may have it more aubundantly (John 10:10). He wants to give us a life full of joy and purpose.
Why is Jesus Christ important in our life today?
Because we have a past. We can't go back but he can. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). He can walk into those places of sin and failure, wipe the slate clean and give us a new beginning. 2 Corinthians 5:1 declares `Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new'.
Because we need a friend. Jesus knows the worst about us, yet He believes the best of us. Why? Because He sees us not as we are, but as we will be when He get through with us. Oh! What a friend. He wants for you and me to believe in Him so he can walk and dine with us as His friends. John 15:15-16..says Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things what I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.... Is'nt that wonderful-to be called a friend of God?
Because He holds the future. Who else are you going to trust? In his hands we are safe and secure-today, tomorrow, and for all eternity. His Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you....plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen." (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB)

Lord Jesus, I invite you to come into my life today, I believe you died for me and that Your blood pays for my sins and provides me with the Gift of eternal life. Forgive me from all my sins and wash me clean with your precious blood. By faith I receive You now, and I acknowledge You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you NOW for saving me and giving me everlasting life. AMEN!
Wherever you are around the world, if you have prayed that prayer, God has perfectly heard you. Find a good local church around your area. Hook up in that church where you will be tought more about the Word of God.
